Explanation About Christmas

CHRISTMAS

Every year the world celebrates holy Christmas. Christmas falls on the 25th of December. It is the birth of Jesus the saviour. He is the son of God. He came to the world to save the sinners. He is there to bless everybody. He is the glorious path. He is the Sovereign Peace. He is the conscience of humanity. He is the ocean of love.


Christmas is a week-long festival. People rejoice in the birth of Christ. The festival starts on the 24th of December. Everybody wears new clothes and houses are decorated. Churches are illuminated. There is piety and gaiety. Christmas gifts are presented. Prayers are held. Messages are delivered. It is the birth of Christ in every heart. It is a new awakening. Every house has a Christmas tree.

Christmas is a festival of family reunion. Parents, sons and daughters feast together. They pray together. They distribute gifts to the near and the dear. The poor are fed and new clothes distributed. Every family is a fount of joy and spring of smiles. It is a reunion of friends and relatives. Union is bliss.

Festivals have their own lasting spiritual significance. Every festival has its own symbolic significance. Symbols tune us to spiritual experiences. Jesus Christ stands for humanity, service and suffering. The cross stands for vicarious suffering. Jesus stands for vicarious suffering. The birth of Jesus for our inner awakening. Where there is godly love there is Jesus. Where there is compassion there is Christ.


The Pope delivers his message of love and peace. He exhorts all to experience Christ. Every heart is a church. It has its own serenity and sanctity. Serenity is the ability to serve selflessly. Selfless, service alone begets peace. Jesus Christ is the wealth of humanity.
