He had an insatiable sense of enquiry. He met a number of god men. But he was not at all satisfied with them. Young Narendra had a good physic and melodious voice.

Swamy Vivekananda was a prophet of our times. He was no anchorite. He was a spiritual realist. His soul yearned for truth. His quest for truth is service to humanity – the mirror of god. He was for eradicating hunger and ignorance. First, he said the poor should be fed. Poverty should be rooted out. Vivekananda never believed in empty preaching’s. He exhorted people to shake off lethargy. ‘Awake, arise, and stop not till the goal is reached’.

Swamy Vivekananda toured the country. He realise the need of the hour. He was the Indian delegate to the religious conference held in Chicago. His address was a unique experience to all. His was the voice of sanatana dharma. His address was an awakening to all. He was the conscience of India. He visited a number of countries. Scores of foreigners became his disciples.

Swamy Vivekananda was a spiritual humanist. He presented Vedanta in a dynamic perspective. He detested all slackness and mediocrity. Dynamism is not sick-hurry activity. It is sharing sweetness through selfless service. Swamy Vivekananda is the son of ageless wisdom.
